Hmmm. Good question. Still working on this myself. I feel the Buddhists have a point when they say, "Life is suffering." But really, is that why we're here? Cuz get me off the train.
I guess I did this (do this) in tiny steps, too. Sometimes the point is, my dog needs a walk. Or melted cheese tastes good. On better days, I can ponder meeting my husband, or taking care of my house.
Start small. Find a point. Even if it's chocolate.
I think you've already gotten two of the most honest answers already. I am with Tash on the chocolate! And since December of last year, I ask that question at least weekly. Hang in there, I know, easier said than done.
People have been pondering that question forever. Even those with less on their minds than we have. But I agree with Tash: chocolate is always a good starting point. : )
